Our Governance Framework
Building Trust Through Transparency
The Hunter Safety Awards exists to recognise, celebrate and advance workplace health and safety excellence across the Hunter Region.
To ensure the integrity, credibility and long-term sustainability of the awards, we've established a governance framework that clearly defines the role each stakeholder plays in shaping the program.
Together, these groups create a balanced and transparent approach that reflects the values of our community.

Our Commitment
Every decision we make is guided by four principles:
Integrity
Recognising excellence through an independent and ethical process.
Transparency
Clearly communicating how the awards operate and how decisions are made.
Community
Creating opportunities to connect, learn and celebrate together.
Continuous Improvement
Listening, learning and evolving to better serve the Hunter Region.
Together, these principles ensure the Hunter Safety Awards remains a trusted platform that celebrates excellence, shares learning and contributes to safer workplaces across our region.
