To ensure the integrity, credibility and long-term sustainability of the awards, we've established a governance framework that clearly defines the role each stakeholder plays in shaping the program.

The Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy and operation of the Hunter Safety Awards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting the strategic direction

  • Delivering the annual awards program

  • Managing sponsors and partnerships

  • Community engagement

  • Financial management

  • Implementing recommendations from the Advisory Panel

  • Ensuring the integrity of the awards program
