As we close out 2025, many of us are finally exhaling. It’s been a big year — full of changes, challenges, wins (some small, some massive), and plenty of “we’ll figure it out” moments when it comes to keeping our people safe, healthy, and well.
And through it all, you’ve kept showing up for safety.
That matters.
At the Hunter Safety Awards, we’re getting ready to celebrate 10 years of recognising WHS excellence in the Hunter. That’s a whole decade of stories, from small businesses transforming the way they do safety, to rising stars shaping the future of wellbeing at work.
If you’ve got a story like that? It’s time to tell it.
Not sure if your work is “award-worthy”?
We hear this all the time. But here’s the truth:
Some of our strongest submissions come from people who didn’t think they’d win.
Entries don’t need to be fancy, just honest, clear, and backed by real results
Every single nominee contributes to a stronger WHS culture in our region
You don’t need a full-time WHS team or a polished presentation. You just need to:
Tell us what you’ve done
Share the impact it’s had
Submit it online (we’ve made it easy!)
You’ve still got time.
Nominations close: Friday 27 February 2026
Let’s finish the year strong by backing yourself and entering the awards that celebrate the work that often goes unseen.
